How long have you lived in that neighborhood?

Over 21 years. We have lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for over 27 years.

 

What is something most people don't know about you?

I love to decorate for Christmas. In my house, no flat surface is safe from festive villages and made-with-love baubles.

 

Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?

Shopping local means our hard-earned dollars stay right here in our community. We support our fellow locally owned businesses and grow our relationships. Those relationships lead to deeper and more personalized services. As a bonus, we save our time and gas money by staying close to home. Win-Win.

 

Where are your favorite places to go in the neighborhood/Valley?

North Bend Theater is a gem. Snoqualmie Falls is always a fun outing. Our mountain views are priceless.

 

What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?

Valley Center Stage is delightful. Their productions are top notch. I love the comedy shows at North Bend Theater and Snoqualmie Brewery.  Twin Falls trail is my favorite hike.

 

What are your favorite restaurants in the Valley?

I love our local restaurants. I have a steady rotation of Iron Duck, Little Si Café, El Caporal, Il Paesano, Mt Si Golf Course, South Fork, Caadxi Oaxaca, and North Bend Bar and Grill. Now hear me out: two out-of-the-Valley shoutouts are for The Well and Table in Issaquah (this is owned and operated by long-time and current Valley resident Jaynie Wetherbee) and The Commonwealth at Snoqualmie Pass (depending on where you live in the Valley, you can be there in much less time than Bellevue for example).

 

What is something most people don't know about the business?
