How long have you lived in that neighborhood?

Since 2018

What is something most people don't know about you?

I am a bit of an endurance junkie having completed numerous long-distance triathlon and run events.

Where are your favorite places to go in the neighborhood/Valley?

Some of my favorites are Volition Brewing Company, watching my kids being active at Jeanne Hansen Park, and summer soft serve at Scott's or froyo at Swirl.

What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?

My family utilizes the Snoqualmie Valley Trail just about daily as it provides access to so many things including the Little Si/Mt Si Trailheads.  I also enjoy golfing at Mi Si Golf course, cycling the various roads in the Valley, and simply hanging out at my house enjoying the views of Mt Si and Rattlesnake Ledge with neighbors and friends.

What are your favorite restaurants in the Valley?

The Lira family does an amazing job at Rio Bravo and Scott's Dairy Freeze, we love having date night at Iron Duck or Il Paesano, and our favorite breakfast spot is Mt Si Golf Course.

 

Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?

Business is what drives the economy and supports the livelihood of those working.  A thriving business community helps sustain an appropriate population, an environmental wonderland, and innovation that is needed in society.

What is something most people don't know about the business?

Financial services are not "rocket science" and anyone can do it if they devote the time and energy to have a systematic process and eliminate the emotions that guide many decisions.  Utilizing an independent full-service advisor is also not as costly as one may think, especially considering the reduction of risk and tax liability that comes from it.

Anything exciting going on that customers should know about?

Over the years, I have been working on enhancements to my Financial Planning capabilities.   This has been intentional, almost solely based on feedback I’ve received from clients throughout my career. In the late 90s, clients seemed happy focusing primarily on investments, but over the years they’ve been asking more and more questions on other things such as work benefits, social security, Medicare, investment real estate, taxes, estate planning, and more. Not everyone needs advice on these areas every year, but over time, almost everyone has major decisions to make in each area and look to me for advice.
