What is something most people don't know about you?

I have been sewing since I was 6 years old. I wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little kid. In high school and college, I made a lot of my own clothes. Until I got a job at a home decor company as a buyer, I have never looked back.

Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?

Locally owned businesses build strong communities, creating economic and social relationships.

Where are your favorite places to go in the neighborhood/Valley?

Go to Volition, grab a cider and a bite at the food truck. I love hanging out in the back at the fire pits on a chilly day.

What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?

Paddle Board on Rattlesnake Lake with my dog.

What are your favorite restaurants in the Valley?

Huxdotter, Volition Brewery, and Iron Duck
