What is something most people don't know about you?
I was born and raised in New York.
Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?
I think this is important because it supports the local economy and the small business owners, like myself. I love the small town feel of the valley and connecting with people in the community.
What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?
Going for a run up and down Snoqualmie Parkway, hiking on trails, visiting the local wineries with friends, and playing golf.
What is something most people don't know about the business?
Embrace Fitness has been a long time vision of mine. I saw a need for a business that didn’t exist and I wanted to take 3 of the things I am most passionate about (health, fitness, and nutrition) and offer my knowledge and expertise to clients who need help in those areas.
I started the company solely and run it on my own. It has been a huge learning experience that has been so rewarding, and I am excited to plan for new development and additions in the future.
Anything exciting going on that customers should know about?
Right now I have a few openings left to take on personal training and nutritional coaching clients.
I will be offering a new Pilates class. Coming Soon.
JANINE LOEHR BARBANELL
At Embrace Fitness, I offer one-on-one nutrition coaching and personal training. My clients have the option of training in their own home, where I bring my own equipment to them, or at a facility in North Bend with a comfortable private studio feel. I look at each client as an individual. Each person that works with me is unique with and needs help in their own specific areas. I am dedicated to helping clients succeed and make it a priority to be a source of support and motivation and inspiration to help them navigate and reach their own fitness goals.
In the personal training I provide, I look at each client’s mobility, muscle imbalance(s), and fitness level to develop a periodized program where you will learn proper form and technique for strength and cardiovascular exercises. This is all based on your capabilities, needs, and goals that you want to achieve.
In the nutrition coaching sessions, I spend time helping you learn the necessary components of nutrition and give you the tools to educate you on nutrition so you can be confident in making healthy choices that you enjoy as well as ones that fit within your lifestyle and fitness goals. I will help you look at any habits or patterns that may be holding you back and from the changes and progress you want to make, and also take your fitness activities into account.
